How to support 3.5 inch HDD on Cubieboard&Cubietruck

If you have a free 3.5 inch hard disk drive, and want to put it into use on Cubieboard or Cubietruck, this addon package below which we are going to talking about is useful.

This package come from Cubietech, named “3.5 inch HDD addon package”, includes a SATA cable, a 12V-5V subboard, and a 12V power cable with 2 male 2.54mm headers.

It is simple in connection with Cubieboard or Cubietruck, just refer to nether pictures. You only should remember to feed a 12V power through yellow cable of SATA and feed 5V power by red cable.
